Come Work
With Us.
Skyliner Truck Center has been running since the 1950s — and we're still growing. We need good people: mechanics, tire techs, and a dispatcher to keep the shop running right.
We're Looking for Good People
Whether you wrench, answer phones, or handle tires — if you work hard and show up, there's a place for you here.
Call Dispatcher / Service Coordinator
Be the voice of Skyliner. You'll be the first person truckers hear when their rig breaks down — taking calls, gathering info, and coordinating our mechanics. No trucking experience required. If you're calm under pressure, friendly on the phone, and organized, we want you.
What You'll Do
- Answer inbound calls from truck drivers and fleet managers
- Gather vehicle info, location, and problem details
- Schedule repairs and dispatch mechanics accordingly
- Follow up with customers on job status
- Handle basic admin, invoicing coordination
What We Need
- Strong phone and communication skills
- Organized, can handle multiple calls at once
- Reliable and punctual — Mon through Fri at minimum
- Computer literate (basic scheduling software)
- Spanish a plus but not required
Diesel / Heavy-Duty Mechanic
We work on everything — Cummins, Detroit, PACCAR, Volvo, Mack. If you can diagnose it and fix it, there's a bay with your name on it. We handle engine work, brakes, electrical, alignment, transmissions, DOT inspections, reefers, and more. You'll never run out of work here.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines across all major OEMs
- Perform brake, suspension, driveline, and transmission work
- Run computer diagnostics and ECM programming
- Complete DOT inspections and CSA compliance work
- Document repairs accurately in the shop system
What We Need
- 2+ years heavy-duty truck/diesel experience
- Your own basic tool set
- CDL preferred but not required
- ASE or OEM certifications a plus
- Ability to work independently and in a team
Tire Technician
Commercial truck tires. Mounting, balancing, flat repair, road calls. We're inside a Pilot Travel Center with a constant flow of trucks — you'll stay busy all day. If you can handle heavy commercial tires, we'll train you on the rest.
What You'll Do
- Mount, balance, and dismount commercial truck tires
- Repair punctures and road-call flat repairs
- Inspect tires for wear, damage, and DOT compliance
- Work with steer, drive, and trailer axle configurations
What We Need
- Experience with commercial tires preferred
- Physically able to handle heavy tires and equipment
- Reliable and hardworking
- Will train the right candidate
What You Get Working Here
16 Services. All Heavy-Duty.
If you're a mechanic who can handle any of these, we want to talk.

70+ Years. Still Family Owned.
Skyliner Truck Center has been at the same location in Pittston, PA since the 1950s — inside the Pilot Travel Center right off I-81. Three generations of family have kept this place running, and we're still growing.
We're not a dealer. We're not a chain. You'll know the owner's name, and you'll be treated like a person — not a number on a spreadsheet.
